MakerSpace at School
KidsLab brings the MakerSpace to your school – with 3D printing, robotics, and digital creative projects right in the classroom.
A MakerSpace at school is more than a room: it’s a learning culture in which students move from passive consumers to active makers. They experiment, build, and program – and experience that they themselves can make a difference in the digital world.
KidsLab brings exactly these experiences right to your school in Augsburg and the Bavaria region – without expensive room conversions or costly purchases, with all materials and tech included.
What is a MakerSpace?
A MakerSpace (also known as a creative workshop, FabLab, or tinkering lab) is an open learning space where kids and teenagers work with technology, design, and digital tools. Typical MakerSpace activities at school:
- 3D printers – design your own objects on a computer and print them
- Robots & electronics – Calliope mini, LEGO Technic, soldering
- Coding – from ScratchJr to Python
- AI & digital media – understanding algorithms, developing games
What makes it special: with making, there are no right or wrong answers – it’s about trying things out, failing, and thinking further. That’s exactly what strengthens creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
MakerSpace project day – we come to you
KidsLab brings everything needed for a MakerSpace project day: materials, technology, and experienced mentors. No room needs to be renovated – we turn the classroom into a workshop.
