The best games made by our kids — all built themselves with Scratch.
GamesPreis 2026 — The winners
On March 12, 2026, the best games of the 3rd Augsburger GamesPreis were honoured at the Kleiner Goldener Saal in Augsburg. 500 students from 20 classes had developed their own computer games with Scratch in one-day workshops.
Main prizes

Yann and Ben Kratzer — steering a flying saucer, collecting ingredients, physically coherent flight movement and self-composed music.

Kilian Grün (16 years old) — mathematically calculated physics, realistic shots, 8-ball rules, and two-player mode.

Matti Brousek, Jakob-Fugger-Gymnasium (9th grade) — a clever puzzle and reaction game, extremely stable and surprisingly tricky.

Besides the three main prizes, the jury awarded nine category prizes and one audience award:
